1390 Fiber laser cutting machine
The PL-1390 fiber laser cutter pairs a Raycus laser source (500W-1kW) with a Raytools cutting head, HIWIN/PMI guide rails and Yaskawa servo drives. Working area 1300 x 900 mm, built for stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminium sheet.
Overview
The PL-1390 is a 1300 x 900 mm fiber laser cutting machine built around a Raycus source rated at 500 W, 750 W or 1 kW. A Raytools cutting head and HIWIN/PMI linear guides hold the beam path steady, while Yaskawa servos — 750 W on X and Y, 400 W on Z — drive the gantry, with a ballscrew on the Y axis.
Because the beam travels through fiber rather than a CO2 tube, the PL-1390 cuts reflective metals such as stainless steel, aluminium and brass without the back-reflection problems that limit CO2 machines, and it does so with a tighter kerf and a lower cost per metre of cut.
